Position: Sourcing- Procurement Specialist

Job Description:

This Sourcing role is responsible for driving the Procurement & Execution activities for Electrical & Mechanical Commodities for projects in the India & Global. In this role candidate will be the responsible for supplier performance for excellent execution. Maintaining supplier relationship and delivery the material, engineering drawing and services.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering (any discipline-preferably Mechanical, Industrial, Production, Electrical).

• Diploma in Materials Management or SCM will be advantage.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sourcing, procurement, and Supply Chain.

Essential Responsibilities

• Candidates will be responsible to lead the Post PO activities with the Supplier, KOM, Documents approval with Engineering, Coordination with Suppliers, and internal Stake Holders.

• On time delivery of the material and Documents related to the Purchase Order

• Candidate will be responsible for managing the Supplier relationship related the execution and improvement in process as desired.

• Candidate will be responsible for implementation of the Digital Tools at supplier end to have better traceability or tracking of the activities.

• Candidate will be responsible for tracking the manufacturing cycle and Inspection plan at the supplier end with quality.

• Candidate will be responsible to ensure timely Good Receipt and Timely payment.

• Candidate will be responsible to work closely with Project team and managing site urgencies with suppliers.

Qualifications/Requirements

• This role required traveling to suppliers for expediting for Engineering drawing and material.

• ISO awareness and knowledge of Quality process

• Demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems.

• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.

• Good knowledge on basic quality tools like RCA, Pareto,5why etc
