What will you do?

A day in the life of a Warranty Center Senior Manager at VF looks a little like this.

The primary responsibility of the Senior Facility / Warranty Operations Manager is to support customer service warranty activities related to the repair or replacement of VF Outdoor products & provide support to Brand QA Managers in the areas of warranty & product performance improvement. Given the duality with the Facility Manager role, manages all aspects of building and equipment maintenance assuring compliance in safety and security.

How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Oversee all functions of the Warranty dept & facility administration, including budgets & record retention.

  • Perform managerial responsibilities of warranty & facility staff, including disciplinary actions, Performance Evaluations, training, work assignment, scheduling vacation, monitoring attendance, review and approve personnel actions.

  • Perform statistical / trend analysis on Warranty metrics as means to continuously optimize day-to-day and long-term operations. Maintain excellent relationships with customers and functional business units within VF to ensure success.

  • Manage and work departmental projects with warranty operations engineer with a concentration on creative tools to increase process efficiencies.

  • Support Warranty guidelines and company policies when dealing with consumers, maintain company quality standards when repairing product, share potential quality issues with QA Departments to apply lessons learned from warranty returns into the Brand’s product improvement process.

  • Maintain facility computer processes. Oversee the Warranty AS-400 database & assist in facility system testing (such as disaster recovery & system updates).

  • Responsible for the maintenance and repair of Uvalde facility. Facility security, intrusion alarm monitoring, fire monitoring, employee access control, building opening and closing schedule.

  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment by identifying all safety hazards and recommending corrective actions when necessary.

  • Ensures the Warranty Center is in compliant with Health & Safety VF Standards.

  • Attends semi-annual product knowledge sessions to keep up to date on TNF products.

  • Prepares products for Warranty Sales and Sample Sales.

What do you need to succeed?

We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 5+ years of experience and professional achievements.

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

  • Progressive management of facility/warranty operations and/or staff

  • Fundamentals of production/industrial engineering & capacity planning methods

  • Strong interpersonal & proactive communication with the ability to use tact & diplomacy

  • Strong analytical background with some financial background preferred

  • Fluency in the English language, Spanish helpful but not a requirement.

  • Motivated and results driven, strong drive to succeed and demonstrated tenacity in achieving goals.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel aptitude, Word, Powerpoint, AS400 experience.

  • Ability to work independently & under pressure

There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a manufacturing related field or equivalent experience preferred

Hiring Range :

$93,600.00 USD - $117,000.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
