What are you going to do?

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of financial management within a small to medium-sized business

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.

• Develop, monitor, and report on budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to management.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.

• Analyze costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to improve financial efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international financial regulations and standards.

• Coordinate with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support during audits.

• Manage tax reporting and compliance within statutory requirements, including VAT and corporate tax filings.

• Conduct financial analysis and risk management to support strategic decision-making.

• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the company maintains adequate liquidity for operational needs.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including banks, investors, and suppliers, to facilitate smooth financial operations.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Finance Officer or similar role

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree is preferred).

• Strong understanding of financial management, accounting principles, and financial regulations.

• Proficiency in financial software and tools.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Dutch proficiency is a plus).
