Job Description
Danfoss in Utica has an opening for a 3rd shift Production Support Technician . This position will work closely with engineers to support plant needs. The hours for this position are 11:00 pm - 7:30 am.

Job Responsibilities
Provide line support for the production line and is the next level of escalation after the Team Coordinator for manufacturing issues related to maintenance and process quality
Works closely with the Process Engineer and Maintenance Engineers to respond to machine alarm errors, malfunctions, and stoppages .
Works closely with manufacturing engineers to resolve process issues that impede production.
The position will interact with a Team Coordinator which is the subject matter expert on the assembly line
Highly motivated, self-driven and well-organized with hands-on mentality
Good analytical and problem-solving skills with flexible mind-set
Driven by innovation and motivated to a drive improvements and change
Provide troubleshooting and related manufacturing support using advanced quality tools.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills:
High School Diploma is required; 2yr technical college degree is preferred
Strong leadership skills such as flexibility, dependability, and independence are essential
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Computer skills: SAP, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) required
Proven problem-solving skills
Strong decision-making skills
Team player who can build positive working relationships
Previous experience with leading teams and continuous improvement events are preferred, but not required
Experience working in a cleanroom manufacturing environment is preferred
Compensation Data
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $26.50+ per hour. Base salary to bedeterminedby the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
