Job Description

Danfoss has an exciting opportunity to join our team in Utica, NY as a Manufacturing IT Business Analyst. In this role, you'll drive the optimization of business processes by collecting/analyzing data, and collaborating with both business and IT teams. Your role involves leading change initiatives, providing expert-level support, and coordinating integration projects to ensure successful outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collect and document business requirements for process improvement projects , conduct meetings, research processes, collect data, analyze information and perform related tasks to handle process optimization change

  • Together with the business and IT team, you will communicate the requirements of the business departments to Danfoss Group Digital & IT

  • Develop a deep understanding of business, their needs, pain points, and aspirations by interacting with different business stakeholders.

  • Lead and collaborate to support change to ensure medium to high-risk issues are solved successfully including current state processes mapping, data collection, analysis and reporting.

  • Provide expert level support as a consultant for related initiatives and create process documentation including workflows and support materials.

  • Track incidents/inconsistencies and report to the business and/or relevant IT counterparts.

  • As part of the integration projects, you will be responsible for coordinating with different stakeholders in business and IT to make the project successful

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics and project management

  • Analytical and structural thinking

  • High quality awareness and proactiveness

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

  • Preferred if having experience with production related software e.g. MES, SAP

  • Solution-oriented thinking and working

Compensation Data

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $85,000-$100,000/year. Base salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
