Job Title: Driver

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. This role requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation (shifts start at 3am before buses run), previous box truck experience (CDL experience would be a plus), and warehouse experience. Candidates must have the ability to lift 50-60 lbs, read, write, and speak English, and possess basic mathematic skills. You will spend 50% of your time working in the warehouse and 50% delivering goods. Responsibilities include organizing orders by hand, lifting between 50-60 lbs, operating hand jacks, and ensuring timely delivery of goods in a professional manner. You will also review orders prior to delivery, load and unload trucks, and provide excellent customer service.

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Utica, New York.

Work Environment

You will be working in a comfortable warehouse environment, but it can be chilly in the coolers as they are fully refrigerated. The team is very easy-going and supportive. The warehouse is busy, especially during the slow part of the year, as we focus on getting new hires fully trained. The work week consists of 5 days (Monday-Friday) and every 3rd Saturday, with shifts starting between 3-3:30am until 12pm, averaging 45 hours per week. The warehouse has A/C 24/7.
