  • Teach courses in all areas of electrical and computer engineering with emphasis on electronic devices, embedded systems or control systems

  • Develop a scholarly research program incorporating undergraduates

  • Develop an externally funded research program

  • Work with the faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering to prepare for and retain ABET accreditation

  • Work with the faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering to develop a graduate program

  • Serve the College and community

  • Other reasonable duties as assigned

Salary: Assistant: $90,000 - 97,500 / Associate: $97,500 - 115,500 / Full: $115,500 - 150,000

Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must have an earned doctoral degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field from a college or university accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally accredited organization and have a record of outstanding academic achievements. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to excellent teaching and a commitment to develop a vigorous externally funded research program. The candidate must be capable of teaching courses in Electrical Engineering (Electronics, Control Systems, Semiconductor Devices) as well as Computer Engineering (such as Computer Architecture and Embedded Systems) and other related Electrical and Computer Engineering courses as needed.

Preference will be given to candidates with research experience, diverse teaching experience at the collegiate level, and industrial experience. While candidates with research interests in the broad field of Electrical and Computer Engineering will be considered, research areas of interest may include power electronics IoT and control systems, autonomous systems, robotics systems, and/or artificial intelligence-enabled systems.
