The Nursing Department, in the School of Health Professions and Education, is seeking adjunct instructors to teach clinicals in St. Petersburg, FL.

Major Responsibilities
The Nursing Department, in the School of Health Professions and Education, is seeking adjunct instructors to teach in the following specialties:
NUR 444: Psychiatric Nursing:
The nurse client relationship and therapeutic communication techniques as they relate to those with mental health considerations. Neurobiological processes and therapeutic techniques.
NUR 365: Obstetrics:
Maternal, paternal, fetal/neonatal physiologic and psychosocial responses to childbearing. Family theory provides framework for interpreting and understanding the way the family adjusts to pregnancy, birth, and the addition of the newborn.
NUR 446: Pediatrics:
The nurse’s role in promoting adaptation in the childbearing family. Particular stressors include perinatal complications, well-child health promotion, and childhood illness.

Education & Experience Qualifications
•Master’s degree required
•Florida State Registered Nurse License required
•Must have a current AHA - BCLS certification
•Minimum of two years of clinical experience as a RN
Minimum Skills/Abilities
•Teaching experience preferred
•Must have strong communication skills
