The Team & The Opportunity
We are the Program Management team within the Product Discovery and Promotion (PDP) organization, driving complex initiatives across PDP teams and Netflix partner teams. This role is responsible for driving effective planning and execution for programs that span multiple organizations and contribute to our top global objectives. We are seeking a Program Leader who will be responsible for shaping and executing programs, is a proactive thought partner to key stakeholders, excels in driving early-stage initiatives from strategy through execution, and is comfortable flexing between managing strategy and program execution.
About You:
You are a seasoned Program Manager accustomed to leading across a portfolio of complex initiatives (programs); always in service of high-priority business objectives. You have honed your ability to communicate and collaborate with executive stakeholders. As a result, stakeholders across the organization seek you out to give shape to early business opportunities because they know you can translate them into programs that drive tangible value and drive execution.
You have proven expertise in the planning, execution, and delivery of programs that either meet the innovation needs of a technology platform or deliver on large-scale business transformation/process improvement initiatives. You can break down complex requirements into manageable programs, interface with multiple cross-functional teams, and deliver solutions in a successful and timely manner. You are known for having the right tools to get stakeholder buy-in and everyone aligned on a program.

In this role you will…
Be responsible for identifying broad trends and opportunities across your portfolio of programs that have the potential to drive greater impact and/or efficiency.
Drive enterprise-level global programs that are high-priority, ambiguous, and complex in nature.
Act as a thought partner to key stakeholders in shaping the vision and translating these into effective execution strategies.
Manage, plan, and track program resources, milestones, deliverables, and communications throughout the execution of simultaneous programs.
Anticipate and plan for future needs and challenges around timelines, workflow changes and program deliverables.
Partner and influence across a broad set of stakeholders ranging from Creative teams, Strategy and Analysis, Product Managers, and Engineering teams to align on project plans, priorities, execution and delivery of highly technical initiatives.

Bring 8+ years of practical experience in driving complex portfolio, programs, and projects at scale, in the entertainment and/or creative industries or where technology intersects with creativity.
Possess deep domain expertise and working knowledge in establishing and implementing program management frameworks and best practices.
Has a track record for influencing a broad spectrum of technical, creative, and operational cross-functional teams and activating them toward a common goal.
Can navigate through degrees of ambiguity and translate strategic opportunities into tangible next steps.
Able to flex between strategy and detailed execution with ease.
Thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment and possess a high level of intellectual curiosity.
Is well versed in managing resources (personnel and financial) to optimize the outcome of the programs and projects for which they are responsible.
Can communicate effectively and inclusively across cultures, creative, and technical teams.
Familiar and fiercely curious about Product, via data insights, A/B testing and user experience POV.
Is effective at giving honest and direct feedback.
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $80,000-$350,000.
