Advantive is looking for a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join a collaborative and growing team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, a great communicator, and enjoys collaborating with people with a diverse set of talents, in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support collaboration between Finance and other functional leaders to ensure accurate planning and forecasting

  • Prepare financial models, forecasts, budget analysis, and ad-hoc analyses.

  • Support preparation of monthly board materials.

  • Oversee department headcount and vendor forecasts

  • Manage day to day actions in FP&A software; Vena

  • Leverage advanced excel modeling to develop meaningful analysis despite imperfect data

  • Dig into “the weeds” and concisely communicate information and solutions to Finance team leadership.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or CFA a plus

  • 2+ years in a comparable finance role, Financial Due Diligence, or Private Equity finance preferred

  • Experience with an FP&A tool such as Adaptive, Anaplan, or Vena a plus

  • Strong excel skills and passion for new technologies that promote efficiency. Familiarity with analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, etc. a plus.

  • Process-oriented view to problem solving.

  • Utilizes data analysis skills, rather than hasty judgment, to support business decisions and reporting.

  • Manages and analyzes large datasets to derive actionable business insights.

  • Quickly adapt to changes and maintain high performance under shifting conditions and challenges

  • Involves a meticulous approach to work, prioritizing accuracy and thoroughness to ensure high-quality outcomes

  • Encapsulates taking full responsibility for one’s actions and their outcomes, emphasizing accountability and learning from experiences

  • Thrives in delivering high-quality outputs in a fast-paced and lean environment

  • Exhibits strong knowledge and application of key finance and accounting topics

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with other business units and ensuring timelines stay on track

  • Passionate about driving continuous improvement in yourself and within your functions

  • Ability to prioritize multiple duties and work independently
