    Position Summary:

    This position carries direct responsibility for the work activities of the staff assigned to them to ensure the provision and maintenance of the cleanliness and appearance of all hospital facilities. This position interacts with housekeeping personnel and assists with the work.

    Qualifications:

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS None Required CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS None Specified EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS One (1) year Hospitality/Food Services - Housekeeper and One (1) year General - Supervisor General SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Customer Service, Good Communication Skills, basic computer knowledge

    Essential Functions:

  • Assists in the scheduling, training, and orientation of employees and all floor work.

  • Assists with payroll functions for the department.

  • Communicates all department activities to the Manager.

  • Conducts regular quality inspections.

  • Monitors hospital and other areas throughout the hospital complex on a daily basis. Interacts with department personnel to insure that standards of cleanliness are developed and maintained.
