Position Summary:
Stock and prepare rooms for ED patients and staff. Disposable supplies will be stocked in rooms and equipment checked for functionality. Will report broken items to appropriate channels
Qualifications:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS None CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS None SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Must have ability to effectively read, write, and converse in the English language. Good communication and time management skills preferred.
Essential Functions:
Stock linens in all applicable ED rooms
Stock supplies in cabinets and carts in all applicable ED rooms
Twice per year, perform expiration checks of supplies in ED rooms
Check wall mounted equipment for functionality, example is opthalmoscope - repair or call biomed when not working
Submit repair requests on equipment and facility concerns
Work with lead tech to facilitate improvements in par levels in ED rooms
Provide customer service as requested in a non-clinical situation
Communicate supply concerns to ED Coordinator/ ED tech 2/ Ancillary Supervisor
Work with logistics, storeroom and others to ensure needed items are available
Stock ED rooms to par levels.
Complete work requests when broken items are found during work day.
Ensure wall mounted equipment is in working order in the ED
