Description Robert Half is seeking a bookkeeper for a part-time, contract, opportunity in Montclair, New Jersey. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments. • Process bills through QuickBooks Online. • Manage accounts payable and receivable. • Handle bank reconciliations and month-end close processes. • Ensure all financial data is entered accurately into QuickBooks. • Enter tuition payments into QuickBooks and manage other related tasks. • Use Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks. • Oversee payroll processing and related activities. • Work closely with the team to ensure all financial data aligns and there are no discrepancies. • Respond to relevant inquiries or issues in a timely and detail oriented manner. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to handle Bank Reconciliations

• Expertise in Bookkeeping

• Proficient in Data Entry tasks

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Month End Close activities

• Knowledge in managing Payroll

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks software
