Objectives of this role
- Identifying and evaluating new business opportunities for revenue generation and market expansion.
- Developing and executing strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives and targets.

- Conducting market research and analysis to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Collaborating with internal teams to align strategies and achieve business goals.
- Negotiating and closing deals with potential clients and partners, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Monitoring and reporting on business development activities, performance metrics, and key outcomes to senior management.
Responsibilities
- Explore and pursue new opportunities for the company's growth through networking, cold calling, and other lead generation methods.
- Develop proposals, presentations, and business cases for potential clients and partners.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and new growth opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches and presentations for successful client acquisition.

- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote the company's products and services.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience as a business developer, sales executive, or in a similar role in business development in the Indian business landscape.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
- Proven experience in B2B sales and strategic partnerships.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the construction field and its market is ideal.
