Position Title: Nursing Aide Trainer (Destination: Certified Nursing Aide)

Status: Part-time

Duration: Cycle I (6 weeks) and renewable at the beginning of each new cycle

Background: Excellence Staffing and Global is an employment, workforce development and training provider. Since the company was started in 2021, it has primarily been providing staffing services to five (5) B2B clients, and also implementing a flagship project for the Montgomery County local government. Recently, ESG expanded its service to include two separate training tracks: The Database Administrator (DBA) track, and the Certified Nursing Assistance (CNA) training track.

Goal of the Position: The Nursing Aide Trainer MUST meet all PA State requirement and undergo a month long Teaching the Educator (TTE) workshop with Penn State University. The Nursing Aide Trainer will be required to create a trustworthy environment for all participants. Nursing Aide trainers may have the flexibility of offering theoretical content of the course virtually for the first four week of instruction during Cycle I, and will be required to perform practical at least once a week for the remainder two weeks.

Role and responsibilities: The Nursing Aide Trainer will perform the following responsibilities in line with the program:

• Complete a weekly class schedule for the six-week cycle of the nursing aide training
• Develop training consolidated training modules for each State-required teaching sessions for the PA nursing aide training program.
• Facilitate, manage, and provide interactive learning environment for participants.

•  Manage participant's performance report, attendance record, and other pertinent information during the course of Cycle I

   

Qualification: Direct Mentors must have the following:

• Must be a Certified Nursing Aide (CAN) with over five years of experience working as a CNA.
•  LNP or RN licenses are added advantage

•  Be willing to travel to the Upper Darby location in Pennsylvania

   

Time Commitment: Nursing Aide Trainer will commit either 3hrs or 4hrs (flexible) a week delivering content on selected days of the week.

• Nursing Aide Trainer will commit total of 16 -- 20 hours delivering content for the duration of Cycle I.
