Northrop Grumman is seeking a Supplier Site Manager 2 . This position will be located on-site at a supplier facility and will support the SDS Division .

We are seeking a qualified candidate who resides near one of the following cities: Dallastown, PA, Canoga Park, CA, Wilmington, Massachusetts, Richardson, TX or Clearwater, FL . The position requires the incumbent to report to the office located in one of these locations, so proximity to these locations is essential.

What You ll Get To Do:

As the embedded Technical Leader at our supplier's facility, you will be an integral part of the Supplier Management Team (SMT), providing support to the supplier and be the front line for NG to support the supplier development, test and manufacturing for this multi-million-dollar project. The SMT includes contributors from multiple organizations including the SMT Lead (Team Lead), Global Supply Chain (GSC), Mission Assurance (MA), Production, Engineering, Business Management (EVMS) and various other support functions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Supports SMT Lead with the following:

  • Drives compliant execution of the subcontract within cost / schedule.

  • Addresses uncertainty through an organized and analytical forward-looking approach that identifies risks and opportunities.

  • Provides technical support and monitoring in design, manufacturing, test and integration.

  • Provides financial (EVMS) support and monitoring.

  • Prepares briefings to support the SMT Lead and Segment Leadership in monitoring and controlling the subcontract.

  • Supports development and reviews of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs);

  • Supports review of supplier proposal responses, including performing technical evaluations, reviewing supplier Basis of Estimates (BOEs), overall proposal quality reviews, and attending proposal related reviews.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in a STEM related field and 6 years of relevant experience

  • At least 1 year leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule

  • US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years)

  • 8 years experience in design, development, manufacturing or testing areas

  • Experience in EVMS or similar cost and schedule management systems.

  • Experience with Material Review Boards (MRB)

  • Ability to travel 25% of the time to supplier locations across the US with occasional travel to the Roy, UT program headquarters.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • US Citizenship with an ability to obtain or an Active Top-Secret Clearance / SCI or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.

  • Proven ability to deliver effective communication verbally, written, and through well-crafted presentations across all levels of an organization.

  • Ability to demonstrate independent creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Advance degrees and/or certifications a plus

  • Experience with SAP, NX, Team Center, Jira

Salary Range: $164,200 - $246,400

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
