Senior Financial Analyst -- Healthcare | Pediatric Hospital | Hybrid

What you'll be doing...

  • Conduct financial analysis to support hospital budgeting, workforce planning, and cost control efforts.
  • Audit decision support systems to ensure compliance, accurate reporting, and financial transparency.
  • Analyze healthcare financial trends, investigate KPI variances, and develop actionable strategies to meet hospital objectives.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports, offering insights into operational and clinical efficiency.
  • Collaborate with department leaders, providing training and financial decision support to optimize resources and patient care outcomes.

Here's what your work history needs to show as evidence that you're the right candidate...

  • Healthcare finance expertise -- experience in a hospital, healthcare system, or related setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify financial trends, optimize cost structures, and support hospital leadership.
  • Experience with EPIC, Lawson, and decision support systems (or similar healthcare financial platforms).
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration. MBA, MHA, or advanced degree preferred.
  • A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills to bridge finance and clinical operations.

Here's the important details:

  • Location: Downtown Seattle (Hybrid after training and orientation)
  • Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Pay Range: $35-$51/hour (DOE)
  • Employment Type: 3+ month temporary/contract role with potential for temp-to-hire
  • Compliance: You must be able to pass a criminal background check and 10-panel drug screen.
  • Immunization Requirements: COVID-19, Seasonal Flu Shot, MMR, Varicella
