JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Eberly College of Science is seeking a part time, Freelance Writer who will support The Dean and our office of development and alumni relations as they tell compelling stories about our science and impacts to help generate general private support, and keep our alumni engaged. The selected candidate would assist in writing gift proposals, developing pieces to introduce potential donors to the college’s initiatives and big ideas, and stories about our current and future initiatives, including multidisciplinary efforts. The desired candidate will possess excellent writing, editing and communication skills. This individual will interface with the Dean and the senior director of development and alumni relations, and engage faculty, researchers, and staff across the college to learn about and write proposals, case statements, white papers, briefings, stewardship reports, stories, newsletters, and other pieces.

Hours will vary for this position as it is on a project basis. Please inquire during the interview process for more information.
