At our Universal City office, interns will have access to the NBCUCommutes program, which provides fully subsidized transit passes to full-time lower lot employees, good for unlimited rides on all Metro bus and rail, such as the Metro Red Line.
Summer 2025 Recruitment Timeline:

Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to:
Audience Development, CRM: The intern will support a variety of Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM) campaigns across NBC, Telemundo, and ELG (Entertainment Lifestyle Group) networks (Bravo, E!, Oxygen, SYFY, and USA). This includes hands-on execution of marketing campaigns spanning various channels (email, mobile push, mobile in app, web push) and partnering with Marketing Operations & Campaign Operations teams as well as brand partners. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, process oriented, accountable, detail-oriented, articulate, and comfortable in a fast-paced changing environment. In addition, the ideal candidate will be data-driven with a growth mindset & natural curiosity and will be comfortable in an A/B testing environment. This is a highly cross-functional role and will require the consummate team player to be successful.
Platform Editorial: The Content Merchandising & Operations group is responsible for curating and programming all the content, collections, stunts, and user interactions on the Peacock Product. Working in conjunction with the Strategy, Planning, Metadata, and Creative teams, we come up with the curation plan for the platform and enter it into a CMS. The team is currently broken into three sections: Entertainment/VODMerchandising, Sports/Live Merchandising & Operations, and Testing. The Platform Editorial intern would receive exposure to all three teams and have the opportunity to help with exciting projects including platform curation, metadata optimization, and special stunt development for high-priority campaigns on Peacock.
Product Marketing - Web Strategy CRO: The Peacock Web Strategy & CRO team sits on the Product Marketing team and oversees all growth opportunities pertaining to Peacock’s website and mobile app stores. Web Strategy & CRO touches mostly every major cross-functional workstream at Peacock, including Brand Campaigns and Peacock Originals launches, as well as any/all SEO areas of opportunity that exist in our vast library of content. The Product Marketing intern will support responsibilities such as developing Peacock Originals marketing landing pages using design tools (Figma, Photoshop), conducting competitive analysis of the streaming landscape, and supporting cross-functional Peacock Originals campaigns.
Basic Requirements:
Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program (June 2025 through August 2025). May 2025 graduates are not eligible for our Summer 2025 Internship Program.
Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States.
Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA.
For further clarification, candidates currently on any student or exchange visa (e.g. F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1) are not eligible to apply unless they will be able to change or adjust to another status that grants work authorization without NBCUniversal sponsorship.
NBCUniversal is an E-Verify company, requiring all employees to have an active Social Security number. Any candidate receiving an internship offer must complete I-9 form with Social Security number within 3 days of hire.
Desired Characteristics:
Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
Strong interest in marketing, media, and/or entertainment.
Excellent organization, communication skills, and attention to detail.
Strong writing and critical-thinking skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
For Audience Dev, CRM: Experience with AirTable, Branch, Iterable, and/or Tableau a plus. Experience with A/B testing preferred.
For Audience Dev, Promo Planning: Interest in operational and analytical work.
For Platform Editorial: Experience with CMS and curating content for websites or video services preferred.
For Product Marketing: Experience working in a CMS preferred.
The hourly rate for undergraduate student interns is $17.50.
The hourly rate for graduate student interns is $25.00.
