The Manager – Payment Systems role is responsible for managing a team involved in the overall sustainment, ongoing strategy, standardization, analysis, design, implementation and configuration of Payment systems and services at Universal Destination and Experiences. This includes leading various compliance and business continuity related initiatives, including developing conceptual ideas into actionable implementation plans, monitoring, analyzing and executing compliance and business continuity projects based on requirements.  This role works closely and collaborates with domestic business stakeholders/leaders providing 7x24/365 availability of the Universal Destination and Experiences Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the administration and maintenance of payment systems, ensuring compliance of rules and regulations. Oversees the monitoring of systems and management processes for effective reporting and remediation. Manages remediation activities to maximize uptime.

  • Manages payment team and sustaining efforts. Must lead resolution teams to address issues in a timely manner.

  • Collaborates with internal customers including Finance, HR, Security and Internal Audit, users, team members, and IT colleagues to assist in the definition, development, and understanding of payment-related business requirements; objectives; deliverables; and specifications for projects and activities.

  • Support Release Management and Change Control processes.  Works with applicable parties to ensure SOX, PCI and Internal Controls compliance and minimize change risks of IT production environment and report situations of non-compliance.

  • Provides status reports and communicate open issues to team and management.

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Basic Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or information management strongly preferred

  • 7+ years equivalent work experience or, equivalent years of experience in technology or merchant payments field. Must have prior leadership experience managing teams. 

  • Familiarity with merchant processing and banking rules.

  • Familiarity with PCI or EMV a plus.

  • Familiarity with Jira a plus.

  • Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail.

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

  • Develops and oversees project schedules and budgetary demands.

  • Works with internal business clients and external vendors. 

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical manuals and procedures, or governmental regulations.

  • Ability to build and lead a team in completing a project successfully for scope, budget and time to deliver. 

  • May require additional working hours outside of typical business hours which could include nights and weekends as necessary to meet project deadlines and operational support needs.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $110,000 - $145,000 (bonus eligible)
