Here at Universal’s Filmed Entertainment Group, we bring our campaigns to life by weaving innovation and creativity into our marketing campaigns.  The international marketing team is looking for a coordinator who is passionate about film and entertainment and eager to work in the fast-paced and exciting world of international marketing and to help build creative campaigns that maximize box office potential.

Supporting the international marketing executive team, the Coordinator, International Marketing, works closely with internal departments and local market offices to assist and guide the theatrical marketing campaigns for international offices outside of USA and Canada.  The coordinator also works across home office teams to facilitate efficient processes and sharing of information for the global marketing campaigns.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work with the international marketing team and International representatives from various departments in the planning, execution and implementation of global marketing campaigns across international markets

  • Assist in organizing and maintaining efficient schedules and workflows for key campaign elements managed by the team on all titles, including strategy documents, content guides, campaign updates, feedback grids, and reports

  • Work closely with internal departments to gather necessary information for these elements

  • With the Director, International Marketing, Focus, serve as one key point of contact between home office, international offices and Focus teams to provide details and information necessary for the execution of their campaign

  • With the director, provide support on some Universal titles and help liaise with the home office teams to provide details and information necessary to the execution of the campaign

  • With the international marketing team, review and approve local activations, materials and marketing plans submitted by local offices

  • With the Director, International Marketing, manage creation of filmmaker deck templates and facilitate market presentation process, including sharing of materials for building, gathering of market presentations, coordination of notes from home office departments and liaising with vendors/agencies for finalization

  • Attend and facilitate notes from marketing/creative/cross departmental marketing meetings

  • Participate in the creative process, including reviewing materials, discussing research and notes and dialoguing on advantageous launch timing

  • With the Director, International Marketing, assist in management of show flow and assets for key exhibitor conventions/activities and other global cinema events

  • Coordinate with partner production companies and legal team to facilitate use of film artwork for book cover tie-in requests

  • Handle other duties as assigned and special projects involving internal and international requests

  • Support the director and the team in preparing for marketing conferences

  • 2+ years of experience in the entertainment industry

  • Proficiency of Microsoft-based software: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote

  • Working knowledge of Photoshop, and Adobe Acrobat

Desired Characteristics:

  • 4-year college degree in marketing or related field is preferred

  • Ability to take initiative, be proactive and have meticulous follow-through

  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and able to prioritize, and juggle an extremely busy schedule

  • Strong written and communication skills at all levels

Additional Requirements:

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 (not bonus eligible)
