Client Director

The Role:

A great opportunity is available to join our growing Client Relationship Management team, where our expert account directors specialise in management of key accounts, supporting our mission to develop and grow our client base whilst nurturing existing valued key account relationships.

Representing our largest Insurer client relationships, you’ll be their voice in our business ensuring we deliver on our promises, and lead discussions where there are opportunities to create more value for mutual advantage. With a practical understanding of the breadth of our claims services across Property, Liability and Motor lines you’ll already have a strong reputation and presence in the Insurer claims environment.

The role will see your CRM activity focused in the Composite insurers sector but there may be opportunities to work within: Lloyds and London markets, MGAs & brokers, public sector and corporate.

Your key collaborators will include senior internal stakeholders and the wider CRM function including marketing and specialist practice leaders for various disciplines within Sedgwick including – Household and Commercial Property, Major & Complex Loss, Agricultural, Marine, Cyber, Fraud, Media, Forensic, Environmental, Construction, Engineering and Media. This is a senior cross business, cross product, role. It’s a UK nationwide position, with regular attendance at Client offices, Sedgwick regional offices and our London head office as required.

A confident communicator with compelling presentation skills, you’ll showcase your ability and enthusiasm for building credible partnerships with key stakeholders across our business and the wider market. Acting as a change agent, you’ll be willing to challenge the status quo to secure better outcomes for our clients, their customers and Sedgwick. Motivated by retention and new business sales targets, you’ll be resilient and capable of delivering creative solutions.

Responsibilities extend to include:

  • Maintaining existing business and forging deeper and wider relationship amongst senior influencers/decision makers within key accounts

  • Upselling and cross selling the breadth of Sedgwick’s claims management services

  • Growing market share for key accounts

  • Promoting, through thought leadership and otherwise, the effectiveness of our overall claims service proposition via tenders for new work, presentations, at conferences and through social media

  • Identifying the opportunities and means to help our clients execute their strategy for claims faster, better, and more safely than anyone else.
