Our client, a leading contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) based in the US, is seeking a Project Manager to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the development and commercialization efforts !

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $90k-$110k

Location : Union County, NJ

Responsibilities:

• Lead manufacturing and CMC development projects from initiation through tech transfer and process optimization, ensuring smooth handoff to the production team

• Develop and implement project plans and budgets, reporting directly to the VP of CDMO Project Management

• Support tech transfer and development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other project documentation

• Contribute to initial labeling, QC testing, and troubleshooting efforts for new products

• Manage training and internal project handoff to production and quality teams

• Utilize standard project management tools such as open issue lists and Gantt charts

• Collaborate closely with client teams and internal departments including production, quality, and finance

Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or 2-3 years in project management within pharmaceuticals, with a strong GMP background

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Chemistry, Engineering, etc.); an advanced scientific degree preferred

• Self-motivated problem-solver with a track record of meeting deadlines

• Ability to work independently and exercise judgment during method development and transfer

• Team player with a collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork

• Proficiency in basic project management techniques and software; familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and LIMS

• Strong communication skills, capable of simplifying complex ideas for management and customers

• Excellent technical writing abilities
