Sartorius Master thesis in cell line optimisation (x|f|m) in Ulm, Germany

For our Corporate Research department, we are looking for a highly motivated Master student (x|f|m) based in Ulm (Sartorius Stedim Cellca GmbH) to work on

method development in molecular biology. Preferable start date is January 2025 and project duration is six to nine months.

Grow with us – Your Responsibilities

  • Perform literature research of state-of-the-art laboratory methods

  • Support our team to generate sequencing data for cell line optimisation

  • Contribute to establish new molecular biology workflows

  • Gain experience with bioinformatic data analysis in Corporate Research

What will convince us

  • You have earned a Bachelor‘s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Life Science, or a similar field

  • You are pursuing a Masters in Europe in one of these fields

  • You have hands-on experience with molecular biology applications, e.g., PCR, gel electrophoresis; prior experience with sequencing technologies is a plus

  • You enjoy problem-solving and are curious about data analysis; prior experience with bioinformatics and/or programming is a plus

  • Your communication skills (English/German) are strong

  • You are highly motivated and like working independently
