Job Summary

The phlebotomist's role in health care is to collect blood and other specimens from patients for laboratory analysis. The phlebotomist also assumes responsibility for the safety and comfort of the donor/patient following established standards and practices.

This position may also assist with other lab related duties as well as central supply duties.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience required

Prior phlebotomist experience is highly desired
