Air National Guard Units INFORMATION SYSTEMS PROJECT MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 5) in Tyndall AFB, Florida

Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a INFORMATION SYSTEMS PROJECT MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 5), Position Description Number 02178 and is part of the FL HQ 101 AOG, National Guard. Responsibilities As a Information Systems Project Management Specialist, GS-0301-12, you will serve as functional point-of-contact and project manager; incumbent plans and schedules test events related to the delivery of the system under test based upon an in depth familiarity with Software Lifecycle models. Works closely with management and the technical team to budget and schedule resource allocation for all requirements. Responds to functional requests, technical team needs and direction from unit leadership in order to develop and coordinate project plans for assigned projects. Analyzes requirements, plans and schedules tests, manages risk, and documents results. Assures projects have sufficient technical expertise available to get the job done by making timely recommendations to the Flight Commander and/or Squadron Commander. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications AREA OF CONSIDERATION: This position is in the Excepted Service "under the authority of Title 5, P.L. 114-328, Sections 932 and 1084 (FY17 NDAA)", and is open to current on-board (Tenure 1, 2 and 3) US Federal employees interested in helping the Department of the Air Force meet our mission requirements as an Information Systems Project Management Specialist. PCS: Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs, Recruitment or Relocation Incentive MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses, Recruitment or Relocation Incentive will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard. FLANG BUS Code NG0523: This position is "included" in the bargaining unit and eligible for labor organization representation. General Adjustment) to be considered GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience, education or training which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration. Compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc., and required person-to-person contacts to convey information. Progressively responsible experience which demonstrates the ability to provide technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE - GS12: Must have at least one year of specialized experiences at the GS-11 level or the equivalent which provides knowledge and/or Experience, education or training in program or managerial experience in a type of work or a combination of functions directly related to the position to be filled or in comparable work or functions. Experience developing and recommending policy; organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of operations. Experience in supervisory, staff or technical work which included study, analysis or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of managerial or administrative policies, practices and procedures. Experience preparing written communications and oral presentations.
