About the role:

Amplify the value of the Product Experience (PX) and Research & Insights by leading our biggest strategic initiatives. You will own and drive the programmatic and operational strategies to align our Products and Technology organizations on the core needs of our customers, to design implement a PX metrics and data program and design scalable systems that track, measure and help communicate the value of User and Customer Research.

This is a highly visible, influential and cross-functional role that combines program management with research operations. The role will report directly to the Director of Product Experience- Research & Insights and will collaborate closely with Research Leaders, PX Leaders and PM and Data Science Leaders in Products & Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operational strategy and program management for Jobs-To-Be-Done (JTBD) research, education and training programs, implementation, adoption, reporting, and definitions of success ensuring successful delivery

  • Partner closely across Product Experience research teams to create a scalable and sustainable JTBD framework, integrate research outputs into a unified framework and repeatable artifacts

  • Lead operational strategy and program management for Product Experience Data strategy, including consistent and standardized UX metrics and telemetry reporting

  • Collaborate closely with quantitative research leader to develop measurement programs, scorecards and reports ensuring successful delivery

  • Oversee the development and design of a unified Research & Insights portfolio, impact tracking to enhance visibility and decision-making in Research & Insights and reporting artifacts

  • Partner with PX Operations, Design Operations, Product Strategy and Operations teams, Technical Program Management teams, Product Management leadership, Learning and development teams, external vendors (software tools, training and development, branding and design)

  • Prepare audience targeted communications and updates that convey and amplify the value of qualitative and quantitative research

  • Provide insight into the alignment and effectiveness of the Research & Insights operating model and processes, identifying risks and opportunities to leadership and key stakeholders, partnering with other leadership and other operations team members to develop plans

  • Lead change management initiatives related to process changes, organizational structure, or strategic shifts

  • Drive continuous improvements in operational capabilities and processes to optimize efficiency

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in research operations, program management, business operations, administration, technical advisory or leadership roles

  • 3+ years experience working directly with UX Research teams amplifying the value of research to the organization

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills. Ability to cultivate and maintain solid relationships with technical, operational, and go-to-market leadership

  • Proficient in TablePlus, MySQL, Looker, and Tableau

  • Proven track record of collaboration and confidentiality on sensitive business, organization, and people topics

  • Proven track record of creating new operations programs and optimizing existing programs to increase productivity

  • High attention to detail with strong analytical skills

  • Ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex strategic and operational cross-functional initiatives

  • High comfort in working under pressure, time-sensitive and rapidly evolving environments

  • Ability to work across multiple functions spanning various levels of the organization

  • Excellent judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Proactive in nature with the ability to anticipate the needs of the business

Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out below, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.

Base Pay Range

SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

Base Pay Range: $159,200.00 - 218,900.00 per year

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

Base Pay Range: $143,280.00 - 197,010.00 per year

All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

Base Pay Range: $127,360.00 - 175,120.00 per year
