Gem State Staffing is seeking Janitorial/Custodian for a full-time position in Filer, Idaho. Custodian will perform daily cleaning and assists in maintenance and care of buildings and grounds.

JobDuties:

1. Performs such school-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
2. Move, operate, and clean various manually powered brooms, mops, vacuums, dusting tools, and snow shovels as well as mechanically powered waxing and buffing equipment.
3. Climb and work from ladders as necessary.
4. Use supplies and chemicals properly and safely according to instructions on the labels on the manufacturers containers.
5. Removes snow, and/or any debris from sidewalks, and steps as directed by supervisor.
6. Reports potential safety and health problems to supervisor.
7. Completes records and reports as required.
8. Reports the need for building and/or equipment repairs to the supervisor.
9. Keeps building and premises, including hallways, sidewalks driveways, restrooms, and play areas neat and clean at all times.
10. Acts ethically and confidentially in all aspects of employment.
11. Deals with students, parents, staff, and others in a positive, supportive manner.
12. Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
