Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in the construction/contractor industry for a Staff Accountant. Based in Tustin, California, this role is integral to our team, focusing on processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving inquiries. Additionally, monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions is a core aspect of this role.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently handle full-cycle Accounts Payable and Receivable

• Conduct Bank Reconciliations on a regular basis

• Ensure accurate General Ledger Entries

• Take responsibility for Month-End Close

• Transition from QuickBooks to Epicor ERP system

• Maintain and update customer credit records

• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required

• Apply an engineering background to financial processes when possible. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processing.

• Demonstrated experience with Bank Reconciliations.

• Solid understanding of General Ledger procedures.

• Ability to prepare and record Journal Entries accurately.

• Experience with Month End Close processes.

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks accounting software.

• Experience with Epicor ERP and Epicor software solutions.

• Construction or Contractor industry experience is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
