Job Title: Electromechanical Assembler - 1st Shift $21-$23

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Assembler for our first shift. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in electromechanical assembly and be ready to contribute immediately to our production needs. This role requires the ability to perform soldering, wiring, crimping, and reading diagrams to execute precise assembly of equipment and products.

Responsibilities

• Perform soldering, wiring, and crimping tasks.

• Read, interpret, and execute instructions and diagrams for precise assembly of equipment and products.

• Construct and test wire harness connections.

• Use various hand tools and fixtures proficiently.

• Conduct quality spot checks on products to maintain adherence to specified standards.

• Promptly report any product inconsistencies or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.

• Rework or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specifications.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 2 years of electromechanical assembly experience.

• Proficiency in crimping and stripping 22-24 AWG wires.

• Experience inserting contacts.

• Soldering at an electronics level, preferably with experience in J-STD-001 standards.

• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards for electronic assemblies and wire harnesses.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics or assembly drawings.

• Experience using specific tools relevant to our production processes (e.g., crimping tools, soldering irons, testing equipment).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous IPC certifications are ideal.

Work Environment

This position operates in a clean production facility. The standard hours are Monday to Friday, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, with occasional overtime as needed, including weekends. Steel-toed boots are required for safety.
