[The Lumber Mill Production Operator is responsible for general clean up around the mill and equipment. Duties include but not limited to:]{segoe="" ui",="" arial,="" sans-serif"=""}]{segoe="" ui",="" arial,="" sans-serif"=""}]{segoe="" ui",="" arial,="" sans-serif"=""}]{segoe="" ui",="" arial,="" sans-serif"=""}]{segoe="" ui",="" arial,="" sans-serif"=""}
- Utilize tools to clean up in mill such as brooms, shovels, and rakes.
- Perform daily clean up tasks around equipment in sawmill.
- Learn various jobs within the mill to have the ability to move up and/or break out operators.
Operate mobile equipment.
Required Qualifications: Willing to work any shift including weekends, holidays, or overtime as needed.
- Commitment to safety.
- Excellent attendance record.
- Good Communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to learn and adapt to change.
- Ability to adhere to all safety policies and regulations including wearing safety equipment.
- Ability to work in noisy environment.
- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
- Ability to work from elevated positions using required safety gear and procedures.
- Ability to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for extended periods of time.
- Able to work in a variety of environmental conditions.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
