Renasant Bank Wire Transfer Specialist/2022-9484/Tupelo in Tupelo, Mississippi

This position is for a Wire Transfer Specialist with a  company located in Tupelo, MS.

Job Summary: This Position is for a Wire Transfer Specialist with a company located in Tupelo. The Wire Transfer Specialist is a critical role to the bank due to the inherent risk associated with Wire Transfers as well as the time sensitive nature of wire processing.  The Wire Transfer Specialist role is to assist in all operational aspects of wire transfer operations and requires direct interaction with bank associates across all markets.

Duties and Responsibilities:  Assist in all operational aspects of wire transfer operations primarily processing incoming/outgoing wire requests with the Federal Reserve. Assist associates across the organization with questions regarding wire transfer agreements, research requests, filing / storage of wire transfer documents and reports, wire transfer agreements, etc. Understand and comply with bank policies, laws, and regulations, such as BSA/AML programs. Display professional interpersonal skills at all times with clients (internal and external). Provide feedback and input on process and workflow improvements, as identified, to continually ensure optimal efficiencies. Other related duties as assigned. The Bank's professional working environment requires employees to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Employees must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills when working closely with internal business partners and external clients. Employees may be exposed to confidential and propriety information within the working environment, therefore, must uphold confidentiality at all times. Due to the possibility of being exposed to high risk situations (i.e. robbery), detailed instructions and procedures are required to be followed at all times to safeguard the Bank's employees, customers, and assets.

Education and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Minimum 2 years banking experience or equivalent knowledge is preferred. Proficient computer skills -- Microsoft Office products. Aptitude for operating other systems and software. Strong interpersonal and written and verbal skills. Strong reasoning and problem solving skills. Requires criminal background checks. Flexible work schedules based on wire volumes and related activity that may require unplanned after hours work schedules.
