JOB SUMMARY
A successful supervisor of Product Management in the Commercial Technology Team derives personal satisfaction from advancing business objectives and adding value to the company. This position will be a key leader of a dynamic, highly motivated team focused on ushering in a new generation of industry-leading digital solutions to position ONEOK as the midstream operator of choice. The Supervisor of Product Management will have the opportunity to lead the team through the full product life cycle of highly complex products and offerings to ensure various aspects of the business are serving the current and future needs of ONEOK's customers, as well as directly impact the bottom line of the company. The Supervisor of Product Management will be independently motivated and deliberately collaborative. In addition, the Supervisor of Product Management will lead the team to advance their analytical skills to solve business problems utilizing technology, serve as a change agent for the organization, and be willing to learn as needed to solve real-world problems continuously.
This is a hybrid position located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A typical work week is Mon/Tue/The working in the office, Wed/Fri working from home.
Job Profile Summary

The Supervisor of Product Management will provide daily oversight of the full product life cycle of highly complex products and offerings to ensure various aspects of the refined, crude or marine products business are serving the current and future needs of the Company's customers, as well as directly impact the bottom line of the company. The Supervisor of Product Management will be independently motivated and deliberately collaborative. In addition, the Supervisor of Product Management will have extensive analytical skills to solve business problems utilizing technology, serve as a change agent for the organization, and be willing to learn as needed to solve real-world problems continuously.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Provides daily supervision of team, defining and maintaining product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
Oversees the development of business case(s) for new products, improvements to existing products and business ventures.
Analyzes data to determine customer needs, develop sales strategies, identify potential partnerships, and define product objectives from an ROI and build vs. buy perspective.
Recommends the nature and scope of present and future products by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
Develops product positioning and messaging that differentiates Magellan and its features across primary market segments.
Creates product strategy documents describing business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI.
Brings new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with IT.
Translates product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by development teams.
Recommends or contributes information in setting product pricing.
Drives the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch.
Collaborates closely with IT, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization.
Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses, answering questions and requests.
Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data, reviewing production and sales costs, anticipating volume, costing special and customized orders.
Stays up-to-date with current technologies and technical developments.
Education
Bachelor's Degree Business Administration (BBA or MBA), Information Technology, Computer Science or related field with specific job related experience
Master's Degree M.S. or MBA
Work Experience
10+ years job related experience with degree; 12+ years directly related experience without degree
5+ years of experience in product management, strategic planning and product innovation roles in software products and services, of which 3+ years of experience as an agile Product Owner or Product Manager in software development scrum teams, is required
Broad IT domain experience in three or more of the following areas: Product Management, Applications Development, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Vendor Management, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure and Maintenance and Support
Experience in large scale Agile Software Product Development processes (e.g. SAFe) is preferred
Experience with automated data mining/formatting/coding preferred
Oil & gas experience preferred but not required
Experience in converting business requirements and functional requirements to use cases, epics, and user stories with acceptance criteria
Previous experience working in a Product Line operational model.
Technical background with experience in software development or web technologies.
Hands-on experience in technologies including Atlassian Suite, Microsoft Office Products, Microsoft Dynamics, Figma, and/or InVision.
Previous experience as a Product Manager of digital products or in Agile Scrum roles such as Product Owner

Ability to: Rapidly acquire new knowledge and learn new skills

Ability to: Able to communicate effectively and to teach peers to utilize new technologies
Knowledge of: Financial acumen preferred – discounted cash flow modeling, financial statement analysis, etc.
Skills in: Business intelligence/data analytics software skills – Power BI, Qlik Sense, etc.
Ability to: Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
Skills in: Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners is required
Skills in: Good organizational skills, thoroughness, attention to detail, and ability to follow-through are a must.
Skills in: Excel skills – VBA, Macros, etc.

Certified Product Manager (CPM)-AIPMM preferred or
