Regent Bank Credit Analyst Manager in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Oversee and balance the team's workload, ensuring tasks are efficiently assigned and completed.

  • Performance Oversight: Monitor and manage the team's performance using reports and quality checks to ensure high standards in credit analysis.

  • Reporting: Prepare and present summary reports, offer insights, and evaluate risks related to commercial loans.

  • Credit Evaluation: Provide expert recommendations on the creditworthiness of borrowers and their ability to repay loans.

  • Collaboration: Work with senior management and commercial officers to review loan proposals and assist with credit memorandums.

  • Forecasting: Create reports to predict industry performance and trends for the upcoming fiscal year.

  • Issue Management: Identify and report potential issues to the Chief Credit Officer through detailed analytical reviews.

  • Portfolio Oversight: Manage the ongoing performance of the credit team’s portfolio by reviewing financial statements and analysis.

  • Talent Development: Recruit, mentor, and support the growth of credit analysts, helping them develop both technical and professional skills.

  • Process Improvement: Contribute ideas for improving productivity and streamlining processes.

  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to bank policies, laws, and regulations, maintaining up-to-date compliance training and following internal procedures.

  • Additional Duties: Take on other tasks as needed with a proactive attitude.

    Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of experience as a credit analyst.

  • Minimum of 3 years in a management role.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to delegate tasks effectively and maintain accountability in a fast-paced environment.

  • High analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial concepts.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage deadlines effectively.

  • High standards of integrity and professionalism.

  • Familiarity with Teams or Zoom for virtual meetings.

    Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and lift/move up to 25 pounds as needed.

  • Good vision for detailed work and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
