Description Robert Half is looking for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk available to start immediately. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area and will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire position. In this dynamic department, career growth and quick advancement is possible. The Accounts Payable Clerk tasks will consist of matching and batching code invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks.

What you get to do every day

• Produce full-cycle A/P

• Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it

• Complete special projects on an as-needed basis

• Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

• Provide internal and external audit assistance as required

• Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed

• Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling

• Provide support to internal business partners

• Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed Requirements - Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

• Detailed and have the ability work independently

• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

• Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)

• Expertise in Microsoft Excel

• Proficiency in QuickBooks

• Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

• 1+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
