The employee will play a crucial role in contract compliance management for designated building maintenance services, as well as maintaining the relationship between City Wide and Independent Contractors. Our team members should have the ability to review client contracts and ensure work expectations are met. They should have the capability to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively with others. Our employees must be comfortable working in various facilities such as industrial, manufacturing, office, medical, retail, etc., with varying air quality, temperature, and physical environments. They should also have a flexible schedule as contract compliance and account orientation demands may change. It is important for our team members to maintain a positive attitude towards customers, colleagues, and management in our highly demanding and ever-changing work environment. Additionally, they should exercise good judgment in reporting concerns to management and seek the involvement of others to best meet our clients' needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

· Travel to client sites to ensure contract compliance with all building maintenance services

· Participate in the evaluation and selection of Independent Contractors to perform various services for City Wide based on personal judgment, experience, and Independent Contractor’s strengths and weaknesses, availability and professionalism

· Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with co-workers, supervisors, Independent Contractors, and customers

· Execute City Wide operational protocols for contract compliance including, Management Strategies, New/Restart Policy, 3-star policy, complaint policy, continuous improvement notes

· Participate in all new account starts as key contact for the independent contractor

· Communicate with independent contractor regarding client complaints/requests, priorities

· Communicate daily with Facility Services Manager for any NJS revenue opportunities or supplies that may need ordered

· Provide nightly recap/report to Facility Services Manager via voice note and CRM data input.

· Participate in meetings and prepare and submit timely reports as needed

· Communicate with clients for any issues with security or disaster response that need immediate attention

· Organizing and maintaining key access for assigned accounts

· Regular attendance with a flexible schedule, including mandatory overtime, based on client demand

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to use excellent judgement, handle confidential materials and always display a professional demeanor.

  • Ability to speak, write and read English fluently.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

  • Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

  • Ability to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to use phones, email, fax, Microsoft Office, and other specific computer programs written for the position.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee frequently is required to drive to client sites and must possess a valid driver’s license, and on occasion transport equipment and supplies.
