Robert Half VP/Director of Finance in Tucson, Arizona

Description

Our client is seeking an exciting opportunity for a VP/Director of Finance role in Tucson, Arizona. The successful candidate will primarily be working within the Manufacturing industry. This role will be instrumental in maintaining financial health and making essential financial decisions within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies and policies

• Oversee the preparation of the company's financial reports

• Develop and manage financial systems/models

• Perform a regular review of the company's financial performance and forecast

• Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained

• Direct and control finance staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and developed

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards

• Provide advice on financial matters impacting the company

• Develop relationships and collaborate with senior executives and stakeholders

• Lead financial meetings and present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner

Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 10 years of experience in a finance leadership role, preferably as a VP/Director of Finance.

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; an MBA or related advanced degree is highly desirable.

• Must have experience in the Electronic Manufacturing industry.

• Proven track record of financial management and reporting at a strategic level.

• Extensive experience with financial forecasting, financial modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis.

• Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Experience with corporate governance and business ethics.

• Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate direct reports.

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with people at all levels and who represent a variety of diverse backgrounds.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial data to senior management.

• Demonstrated strategic planning and execution skills.

• Proficiency in using financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Must be able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly desirable.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
