Job Title: Structures Mechanic
Job Description
Our client is one of the world’s leading industrial groups, spanning energy, logistics & infrastructure, industrial machinery, aerospace, and defense. They operate a massive climate-controlled hangar in Tucson, Arizona, where they have 16 lines of maintenance working on the CRJ line. They are rapidly growing and expanding, with new lines coming soon. As a Structures Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, installations/removals, and inspections on the CRJ aircraft. This includes scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, service bulletins, air directives, repairs, and occasional modifications and upgrades. You will also fabricate and modify structural modifications on aircraft parts.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, install/remove, and inspect CRJ aircraft components.
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
Execute service bulletins and air directives.
Conduct repairs and occasional modifications and upgrades.
Fabricate and modify structural modifications on aircraft parts.
Essential Skills
A License required
Minimum of 5 years of structural sheet metal repair and modification experience
Experience with corporate jet or commercial aircraft preferred
CRJ airframe experience is a plus
MRO/Heavy Maintenance experience required
Military aircraft maintenance experience (Depot/Isochronal/Phase inspections) is a plus
Additional Skills & Qualifications
A&P License preferred
Basic set of tools required
Must pass a structures test (flush pass) before starting
FAA Drug Test

Work Environment
- Work in a temperature-controlled environment with 12-hour shifts, being open to any shift and any day. The schedule is 4 days on, 3 days off, 3 days on, 4 days off, with 8 hours of overtime every other week. This is an open-ended contract with 90-day reviews and the possibility to go permanent based on attitude and performance.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $40.00/hr.
