PET Tech II - Advanced Imaging

Starting at a competitive pay rate of $40 to $50 per hour based on experience, you'll be set for success with a comprehensive orientation and hands-on training to ensure you’re fully prepared from your first day.

Weekly: $1600 - $2000

Hourly: $40 - $50

MORE ABOUT THE PET TECH II POSITION: In this role, you will perform essential duties within a dynamic team setting:

  • Conduct PET scan procedures including radiopharmaceutical injections, setup protocols, image reconstruction, and coordination of image reports.

  • Manage scheduling and front office interactions to ensure efficient workflow.

  • Ensure accuracy in patient data management, report distribution, and file maintenance.

  • Collect clinical data for patient follow-up and contribute to educational materials.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology or Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited program.

  • Minimum of five to seven years of experience in Nuclear Medicine, including two years in PET.

  • Required certifications: CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) and/or ARRT(N), with state licensure applicable.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Physical ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds and assist patients as needed.

  • The role involves standing for extended periods and the ability to handle exposure to ionizing radiation and other standard clinical environment risks.
