Material Program Manager (MPM) needed for the Raytheon Coyote Counter-UAS Product Line execution team in Tucson, AZ. This role requires basic knowledge of the material requirements planning (MRP) process with practical knowledge of project and material management.

In this role you will learn and further develop your knowledge of manufacturing, material requirements planning and business acumen within a matrixed organization. The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communications skills to influence and communicate effectively across multiple areas outside of one’s own job function as well as with parties external to the organization and company. You will have the opportunity to lead projects, budgeting and financial management, issue, and conflict resolution.

This position is an onsite role.

What You Will Do

  • Engage with IPT leadership on material strategy execution.

  • Communicate and translate customer and product requirements to suppliers; Conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity, and risk.

  • Review SCM metrics

  • Support recurring supplier, program, and IPT Reviews including visibility of procurement plans and escalation of supply chain issues.

  • Develop and execute Risk & Opportunity (R&O) and Sales plans to meet Annual Operating Plan (AOP) & program responsibilities; Proactively manage mitigation plans.

  • Managing budgets for all buy parts and supply chain labor in support of the Estimate at Completion (EAC) process.

  • Support prime proposals and program start-up including developing and executing Material Product Strategies (MPS) and Plans (MPP)

  • Ability to obtain MPM certification within 1 year of hire.

    Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of five (5) years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

    Qualifications We Prefer

  • Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Business, Finance, Management, Engineering, Supply Chain or similar.

  • Active Secret or Top-Secret Clearance. Last full background investigation within the past 6 years.

  • Experience with budget and Earned Value (EV) management, MRP systems and tools such as PRISM and KINAXIS, Risk and Opportunity (R&O) Management, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and/or proposals.

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), leadership abilities, and the ability to work in an IPT environment.

  • Must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives, and able to interface with all levels of internal management as well as supplier management.

  • Must be able to succeed in the high stress, fast paced development environment.

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to assign the appropriate priorities to the many tasks they will be required to perform.

  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and Power point).

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
