Community Health Systems Exercise Physiologist - Cardiac Rehab - PRN in TUCSON, Arizona

Description

Seeking a motivated, dynamic, patient focused Exercise Physiologist to join our Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab team .

Job Summary

  • Performs stress tests and assists with outpatient and inpatient Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation

  • Develops, implements, and evaluates the cardiovascular and metabolic effects of exercise.

  • Creates educational materials and sessions for patients.

  • Performs a variety of tasks; Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works both independently and collaboratively in a team setting. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

  • Reports to a supervisor.

  • PRN position with one weekend call availability. This position pays $23 an hour for PRN

Requirements

  • Stress test experience preferred, but not required.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in exercise physiology, and

  • 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area required.

  • EPC (Exercise Physiologist Certified) is preferred.
