The Salvation Army (TSA) Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) is a no-fee program to assist men & women in their journey to complete our rehabilitation program. FULL TIME: 37.5 hours per week / 7.5 hours per day / $15.85 an hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.

  • Consistently demonstrates strong communication, leadership, accountability, and follow-through skills.

  • Ability to read and write and to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.

  • Ability to lead, motivate and mentor teams of warehouse associates and beneficiaries.

  • Ability to differentiate quality of donated items.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. with or without assistance

  • Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks

As our enthusiastic and hardworking DONATION SITE SUPERVISOR, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Ensure the donation area is clean and safe for customers and employees. Inspect the area daily.

  • Review quality of donations and communicates changes in acceptance using the company guidelines.

  • Ensure all donation signage is available and in place.

  • Ensures daily reporting of donations via the web reporting tool.

  • Observes and provides feedback on customer/donor interaction.

  • Understands and versed on hazardous materials and proper disposition of them.

  • Ensures all returns and processed donations are properly labeled using the descriptions and tags provided.

  • Communicates with retail and operations, the daily capacity of the donation inventory.

  • Works with the District Manager and Operations Manager to ensure quality and quantity of processed goods are ready for delivery to assigned stores.

  • Report daily quantity of processed donations. Notifies District Manager of an deficit in donations that may affect daily production.

  • Assist TSA Drivers with loading donations on to trucks as necessary,
