LOCATION: Tucson Area Coordination 1002 N. Main Ave.
STATUS: FT/40 Hours/Week

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma/GED required
Minimum 1-year basic custodian experience helpful
Must have ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Familiarity of Material Safety Data Sheets
Able to read/understand/follow labels & directions
Working knowledge of cleaning equipment
Able to interact professionally with individuals having a diverse background
Successful background clearance
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Offices/Board Room/Classrooms/SS Lobby & Entrance
Dust all office furniture and surfaces – Desks, cabinets, shelves, phones, light fixtures, ceiling vents, computer, monitor and desktop printers
Empty trash and recycle, take to designated area
Wipe and clean chairs
Clean glass doors, windows, and handles
Vacuum carpets
Sweep dust and mop floors
Dust blinds
Disinfect, dust, spot clean light switches, walls, and wood doors
Clean and sanitize drinking fountains
Breakroom/Kitchenette
Dust and wipe tables, cabinets, sink and countertops, TV
Clean and disinfect chairs
Clean inside and outside of microwave
Disinfect, dust, spot clean light switches, walls, and wood doors
Clean exterior of refrigerator, wipe inside as needed
Empty trash and recycle take to designated area
Vacuum couch
Sweep and mop floor
Restrooms– Upstairs (3) and (2) Downstairs-Office Side
Clean and disinfect sinks, toilets, urinals dispensers and fixtures
Clean tile walls and stall partitions
Clean mirrors, chrome fixtures
Sweep and mop floors
Restock products as needed (toilet paper, towels, soap)
Elevator
Vacuum, polish and disinfect interior and exterior elevator
Exterior Grounds
Remove trash, debris from entire perimeter of building
Miscellaneous
Maintenance (light bulbs, air filters, unclog toilets, touch up paint) as requested
Clean Metro stairwells and railing
Dump ash tray urns
Clean and sanitize drinking fountains
Clean and sanitize trash cans
Assist with landscaping exterior grounds and parking lot between landscape company visits
Power wash sidewalks, patio decks, front lobby
Report maintenance issues and supply needs to Supervisor
Attend all staff meetings
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Qualified individuals must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
