THE WORK

As a Material Planning and Asset Control Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and assets across multiple projects. This position involves managing material planning, asset control, and analytics, alongside supporting various smaller projects. In this fast-paced, customer-focused role, you’ll coordinate closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Programs teams to meet dynamic demands. Key responsibilities include aligning supply and demand requirements, using SAP and other planning tools, and analyzing data to prepare insightful reports. Collaboration with Purchasing, Finance, Master Scheduling, QA, and Program Management teams will also be central to your role.

You thrive in fast-paced environments and excel at effective communication, working seamlessly with cross-functional teams. With proficiency in SAP, MS Office, and related tools, you bring an analytical approach to tracking, reporting, and maintaining data accuracy. Basic Qualifications:

Knowledge and application of Supply Chain Inventory Management and distribution methods.

Related experience in kitting, warehousing and material handling.

SAP experience or similar ERP experience

1+ years of relevant experience

Desired Skills:

Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Microsoft Access

SharePoint

Data Analytics

Business Intelligence Reporting

Experience working with an SAP ERP system a plus

Strong communication skills

MS Project

Tableau

Previous Sikorsky operations experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
