Lockheed Martin GCMS Asia Regional Field Service Representative in Trumbull, Connecticut

Description: Field Service Representative will provide aftermarket technical and customer product support for Asia regional operators of Sikorsky S-92, S-76, and S-70 helicopters. Key areas of responsibility include Brunei, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, and Thailand. Successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of experience with customers in the region and comprehensive understanding of the unique business environment. Position will be based in Thailand and will require >50% travel. Assignment does not provide relocation or on-site benefits.

Candidate will handle complex customer relationships concerned with technical service problems of operation, maintenance, and overhaul of Sikorsky S-92, S-76, and S-70 helicopters.

Analyze and recommend corrective action for all malfunctions or failures of the S-92, S-76, and S-70 aircraft or equipment including those of the airframe, engine components, gearboxes, blades, electrical/electronic units, etc.

Assist customers by interpreting and clarifying instructions, publications, drawings, and other technical data issued to the customer and by obtaining all requested information on engineering problems.

Submit detailed S-92, S-76, and S-70 fleet reports to engineering and program management, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on customer situations and key information.

Provide on-the-job training to S-92, S-76, and S-70 maintenance personnel for all levels of maintenance, operations, major systems and sub-systems checks, problem analysis, and other functions related to operation of Sikorsky helicopters to include options systems.

Provide customer support to assist supply chain, ITC, platform/programs, and business development on an as-needed basis.

Work with customers to obtain additional data and other pertinent information that Sikorsky engineering, analytics, or other programs may request.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 9 years demonstrated field service experience supporting Sikorsky S-92, S-76, and S-70 helicopters and customer operations in the Asia region.

Significant demonstrated knowledge of S-92, S-76, and S-70 airframe and systems, to include troubleshooting and repair procedures. Must be experienced with SGBA and HUMS system applications, plus associated avionics and flight control system software loading tools used on applicable aircraft, including AMS, HUMS, EGPWS, THALES avionics, and FCC applications.

Demonstrated knowledge of Sikorsky commercial product support operations and procedures, to include processes and systems used for communications with engineering and logistics activities to resolve customer issues.

Desired Skills:

FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification, or EASA Engineer certification.

Knowledge of civil aviation regulatory and aircraft certification requirements.

Familiarity with LM and Sikorsky regional business practices

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $105,000 - $197,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $91,300 - $175,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
