THE WORK

The Information Systems and Innovations team within Lockheed Martin’s Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Global Sustainment organization is seeking a Data Analyst to support various RMS lines of business (ATMP, IPV, cross-functional projects, other rotorcraft operations) as the supply chain evolves to suit 1LMX business and digital transformation needs through dynamic artificial intelligence.

A qualified candidate for this position will have extensive familiarity with data analytics, specifically through the lens of the overarching supply chain and S&OP, and bring both passion for and knowledge of/experience with artificial intelligence to the role. Focused on how artificial intelligence and data analytics can help RMS lines of business maintain and grow their edge over competitors, the role entails

entails gaining a comprehensive understanding of business/program directives to leverage demand history, sales trends, proposals, market/customer insights, material data, supply chain procurement and operational metrics and other variables to serve as an information repository for senior leadership. You’ll be tasked with creating streamlined approaches to answer various supply chain, program management, operations, inventory management and financial inquiries through the creation of tools and reporting, leveraging artificial intelligence to bolster efficiency, that help guide optimal decision making.

Prior experience using databases and developing reports/tools is a must to effectively manage multiple requests from programs, project engineering and the supply chain, as is being able to confidently speak to and convey your findings/assessments to help frame decisions and highlight relevant information to cross-functional teams. Light forecast and subsequent demand plan development will be required and accentuated by developed tools and reporting.

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of relevant (supply chain, programs or data analytics) experience in aerospace/defense, heavy manufacturing or large-scale CPG/FMCG industries

• Programming experience (SQL, Python and/or Angular strongly preferred)

• Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Google Charts, Power BI, etc.)

• Experience with data analysis and statistical assessments

• Exposure to AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) through LLMs, language processing, semantic search, neural networks, et cetera

• High comfort in dealing with Program and Business Development leadership

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of statistical modeling software and threshold maintenance

• Comfort conceptualizing/building light data analytics and forecasting tools/interactive reports

• Prior experience utilizing advanced forecasting suites (Amazon AWS, Kinaxis, SAP IBP, etc.)

• Understanding of inventory planning best practices

• Familiarity with end-to-end S&OP/SIOP cycle and knowledge behind each facet

• Material planning/forecasting experience, including understanding of requirements planning and basic forecasting procedures

• Experience with MRP systems, preferably SAP ERP/Microsoft Dynamics 365/Oracle Cloud ERP

• Seasoned with working directly in or adjacent to demand planning, supply planning or forecasting

• Experience working cross-functionally with other internal teams (supply planning, procurement, overhaul/repair, finance, program management, etc.)

• Keen problem-solving skills and an attention to detail

• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities

• Knowledge of supply chain business flows

• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including effectively presenting findings/updates to peers, internal customers and management

• Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $77,600 - $146,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $67,400 - $129,300 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
