We are immediately hiring multiple Pharmacy Technicians here in the Troy, Ohio area! These are long-term career opportunities for people looking to continue to grow their career in the pharmacy field. These roles will primarily be performing data entry/order entry job duties and will work in a closed door, long-term care pharmacy setting.

We are currently hiring for both entry-level openings and for openings requiring experienced Registered Pharmacy Technicians. The Entry-Level openings will pay $16-18/hour depending on experience, and the more experienced roles will be between $20-22/hour based on experience. There will also be additional shift differentials paid out for 2nd and 3rd shifts as well.

Shifts Available

• 1st Shift: 9am - 5:30pm

• 2nd Shift: 3pm - 11:30pm

• 3rd Shift: 10:30pm - 7am

• All shifts are Monday - Friday PLUS rotating weekend work (will typically get 1 day off during the week to compensate for going in on a weekend).

Job Description

This role will primarily be performing data entry/order entry duties in a long-term care pharmacy setting. role involves order entry, follow-up, and various data entry tasks to ensure accurate and timely prescription/patient information input. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of pharmacy computer systems and be capable of resolving discrepancies in orders with customers.

Responsibilities:

• Perform order entry for new pharmacy orders.

• Follow-up with insurance or customers over the phone as needed.

• Update information in the computer system regarding work queues, patient information, and prescription information.

• Ensure patient information and prescription information is accurate.

• Investigate any discrepancies with patient and prescription information.

• Respond to phone calls as needed.

Qualifications:

For the experienced role:

• MUST be at least Registered or Certified as a Pharmacy Technician

For the more entry-level role:

• Must have some experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar type of role (such as administrative experience within a healthcare environment).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
