ITW Business Process Optimization Supervisor in Troy, Ohio

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for executing direction and priorities on behalf of the Business Process Optimization organization. Reporting to the Business Process Optimization Manager, the team lead will provide daily support for the team and help provide clarity on individual priorities to ensure timely execution. This position requires the ability to implement strategy effectively, prioritize responsibilities, provide consistent, professional, and effective leadership, and help allocate projects and tasks accordingly based on team resources.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

These are the most significant duties performed. The size, scope and complexity of assigned duties and responsibilities are dependent on the level and experience of the incumbent. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each assigned essential duty satisfactorily. Other responsibilities or special projects not specifically listed below may also be assigned.

80% of the time:

  • Collaboration with key stakeholders within different areas and levels of the business to effectively identify, prioritize and manage project objectives and deliverables.

  • Balances team and individual responsibilities regarding new and existing tasks, initiatives, small and large projects, annual SMART goals, and other core responsibilities as assigned.

  • Create, evaluate, and/or update current Operational processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas of improvement and simplification. This includes leading key projects that align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives holistically.

  • Manage operational development items through Azure DevOps for the business and ERP systems, including but not limited to creating new requests, managing, and prioritizing existing requests with executive leadership, testing, validation and change management to the organization.

  • Provide regular operational support to business organizations as directed or assigned by the manager.

  • Active involvement in Organization Change Management and Communication.

  • Analyze operational processes for efficiency improvements, simplification, and automation.

  • Measure and monitor key business process reports and escalate trends and area of focus to manager.

20% of the time:

  • Provide Business Intelligence team support in report validation and end-user training as needed.

  • Facilitate training on new and existing business processes for the organization.

  • Including, but not limited to: Virtual, On Site, In Person (travel).

  • Assist in documentation of business processes, policies, and procedures.

Education and Work Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree required with 6 years in leadership functions/equitable experience.

  • Business process improvement and simplification principles

  • Expertise in Microsoft D365 ERP systems

Technical and Analytical Skills:

  • Knowledge of Windows Applications and Microsoft Office Programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, OneNote, OneDrive, Dynamics 365).

  • Ability to execute data analysis to interpret organizational operational process trends and perform root cause analysis to determine action plan.

  • Working knowledge of Power BI platform for reporting.
