Unity House of Troy’s Finance Department is looking for a Grants and Contracts Billing Specialist. This is a tremendous opportunity for an extremely detail-oriented self-starter to join our team!

Position may be eligible for a $750 sign on bonus!

Responsibilities:

Perform finance functions for all contracts (including billing, budget summaries, projections, and reconciliations).

Reconcile certain G/L accounts for all contracts.

Peruse executed contracts for completeness and prepare for final submission.

Review contract stipulations for reporting requirements, provide funding sources with additional contract information as needed.

Coordinate contract implementation between administration and applicable program.

Review budget by line item with program management and communicate relevant contract guidelines/expectations.

Monitor and oversee administrative functions of all contracts, track contract renewal dates and expiration dates.

Research expenses and reimbursements received from funding sources.

Track contract revenue and resolve outstanding items to ensure payments.

Promote an environment of inclusion and belonging.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. 5 years accounting or grant experience. Must also have reliable transportation. A Valid and clean New York State driver license. Excellent time management skills, as well as the ability to work independently in the field are also required. A high level of professionalism as you will interact with all levels of Unity House staff, consumers, outside agencies, vendors and auditors. Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
