Unity House Evening Case Manager in Troy, New York

Position is eligible for a $1250 sign on bonus!

We are looking for a dedicated victim advocates who likes working second shift at our domestic violence shelter. You will work closely with individuals in crisis who are seeking safety from abuse.

There are two shift opportunities for this position: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM and 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM. Overtime opportunities available.

Responsibilities:

Provide victim-centered and trauma-informed case management services to victims and their children.

Work with clients to locate and secure appropriate housing.

Offer emotional support, crisis intervention, safety planning and other services.

Answer domestic violence and PREA hotlines, provide support and assist with referrals.

Assist clients with life skills development as needed.

Promote a work culture of inclusion and belonging.

Requirements: One year of experience working with victims of domestic violence or similar population. Valid NYS driver license. Reliable transportation. Associate or Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred. Spanish Speaking candidates preferred but not required!
